(ALEXANDRIA, VA) – The National Foundation for Women Legislators and the National Rifle Association are pleased to announce the winners of the 19th Annual NFWL/NRA Bill of Rights Essay Scholarship Contest.

Applicants were given four prompt options, all of which examined the topic of the 19th Amendment’s historical and modern significance. The essay topics asked students to further analyze the role of women in American politics, which led to a diversity of responses from the over 100 students who applied for the scholarship.
