2011 NFWL-NRA Bill of Rights Essay Contest Scholarship

This year, the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL) and the National Rifle Association (NRA) are sponsoed the 14th annual nationwide NFWL-NRA Bill of Rights Essay Contest. The focus of this year's topic was on the rise of social media and what it means for the future of democracy and the interaction between citizens and both women candidates and elected women leaders.

The seven contest winners received a $3,000 unrestricted scholarship to use towards college tuition at any U.S. college or university and ( an all-expense-paid trip to NFWL's 2011 Annual Conference in Des Moines, Iowa.

2012 NFWL-NRA Bill of Rights Essay Contest Scholarship

The 2012 Awards will be presented at NFWL's 2012 Annual Conference, November 15-19 at a location TBD. The essay contest application will be posted here in February 2012, please check back then for more information and details on how to apply!
