The National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL) is pleased to announce the winners of its “Ending Period Poverty with NFWL Contest.” The contest aimed to raise awareness about period poverty and to support innovative solutions to address this issue.
Thanks to Kimberly-Clark and its U by Kotex® brand, each winner will receive a $1,000 donation of period products to the community initiative of their choice, and the opportunity to be featured on NFWL’s social media channels throughout the month of May leading up to Period Poverty Awareness Week, May 22-28, 2023.
After receiving numerous entries from across the country, NFWL is proud to recognize these winners.

Nominations for NFWL`s Elected Women of Excellence Award are now open! This award was established in 2013 as part of NFWL’s 75th Anniversary Celebration in order to honor the hard work and dedication of women leaders from across the country. At most, one Republican and one Democrat from each state can be selected for this prestigious honor yearly.

Calling all female college students in GA! We are officially accepting applications for NFWL`s 2024 Student Scholarship Essay Competition! Applicants must:
➡️ Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university in GA
➡️ Be available to attend NFWL`s Annual Conference in Atlanta on Nov. 10-13
➡️ Submit an application before Sep. 2
