From 2005 – 2017, NFWL partnered with the Office Depot Foundation to give elected women a special opportunity to participate in their Annual National Backpack Program. This program brought NFWL women together with children from their communities and helps them to distribute backpacks and supplies to children and schools in need.
In the fall of 2017, NFWL had more than 70 elected women from 30 different states distribute over 11,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to under-served children in their area.
