NFWL Member Sen. Geraldine Thompson recognized as Conference Co-Chair!

Orlando State Senator Geraldine Thompson has been named a Co-Chair of the National Foundation for Women Legislators. The NFWL Conference will take place here in Orlando from November 16th to the 20th.

The NFWL is a non-partisan educational foundation for elected women on the state, county, and municipal levels. Thompson was named a co-chair along with five other state lawmakers from both parties. It aims to identify effective solutions to some of the nation’s most pressing issues. Providing a non-partisan environment that encourages dialogue and the sharing of information and experiences.

“I am so delighted to announce these six Florida elected women as our 2016Conference Co-Chairs,” stated Delaware Representative Helene Keeley, NFWL’s Chair. “NFWL genuinely appreciates each of their efforts in promoting and building our conference so it will be the best one yet!””
