We thank Rep. Kimberly Dudik for taking part in the State Director Leadership Summit, hosted by the National Foundation for Women Legislators.
At the summit, a bipartisan group of 31 elected women from across the country convened to address incivility and polarization in state politics. It is imperative elected officials build strong relationships and establish respect with all their colleagues, even those with whom they disagree. Constituents depend on their elected officials to collaborate, even when they may not agree on every issue, to solve problems facing our country.
During this time of extreme division throughout the country, it is more important than ever for politicians to build civility so that they can work together.
