Introducing: The 2018 Honorary Conference Chair
Mayor Muriel Bowser serves as Washington, DC’s seventh elected Mayor. She expanded opportunity across all 8 Wards of DC by strengthening job training programs, and by attracting and retaining jobs in the District. She is committed to producing, protecting and preserving affordable housing.
The Mayor is committed to making sure every Washingtonian gets a fair shot, including its most vulnerable residents. In everything she does, the Mayor puts District residents first, and ensures that the city’s priorities match the peoples’ priorities.
Let Us Know Your Insight: NFWL Bylaws
It is the policy of the National Foundation for Women Legislators that any provisions of the current bylaws may be altered, amended, or repealed with a two-thirds vote of the NFWL General Membership at the Annual Meeting (Nov. 13 in Washington, D.C.)
The Bylaws Committee requests all elected women members of NFWL review the current bylaws and submit any suggested changes to firstname.lastname@example.org by October 15.
Let us know your feedback! We’re always looking to hear from elected women on how we can make our programming better. Fill out this survey in just a few short minutes, and have your voice heard.
