Digital Solutions and The Analytics that Make Your Argument

Technological advancements have provided lawmakers with the in-depth analytics that can make a real impact on public policy. From think-tank research to increasing the accessibility of public affairs information for teams of all sizes, technology is evolving the lobbying and legislative game.
How can we be more effective in our arguments? NFWL and elected women know the answer: evidence based policy. Rooted in data and research, evidence-based policy has become the new standard of legislation that every elected official wants to put forth. Evidence based policy provides legislators and constituents with the analytical framework to test various solutions that can improve their communities.
How can data make an impact? Naeim Khanjani, CEO and Co-Founder of Electo Analytics shared with NFWL, “As technology continues to evolve and shape the world we live in, the future of government affairs work is becoming increasingly reliant on innovation and digital solutions.” Organizations like Electo Analytics engage with policymakers and stakeholders in new and innovative ways by meeting policy professionals where they are: through policy software.
Emerging digital solutions are at the forefront of innovation. As these new products hit the mainstream, whether they be crypto, blockchain, or other emerging tech, they become targets for government regulation. Groups like Electo Analytics are dedicated to helping companies in these spaces should they enter the regulatory space.Bringing together real policy solutions from across the country also helps bridge the gap between data examination and policy creation.Research, legislative tracking, and policy analysis help us understand the national trends so that lawmakers may examine whether those policies might be effective in their own state. Elected officials rely on think-tanks and state policy groups like NCSL, CSG, and NFWL to connect them with research that impacts their state.
