Celebrating the Suffrage Centennial

Join NFWL and the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission in a project to educate and inspire all Americans in the centennial year of women’s right to vote.

NFWL is launching 100 Susans for 100 Years, a tool-kit to help you celebrate the Suffrage Centennial, spread the word to other elected women, and teach young girls about the history of women’s fight for the right to vote.

Your Tool-Kit Includes:

  • A decorated flat Susan B. Anthony you can take a photo with in honor of the centennial of the 19th amendment. Be sure to post it on social media and tag @electedwomen
  • 10 decorated Susans you can give to other elected women so they share pictures with them as well.
  • Susan B. Anthony: A Fighter for Women’s Rights, A children’s book about Susan B. Anthony you can take into classrooms or libraries to share with young girls as they learn about the history of women’s fight for the right to vote. Included will be 10 undecorated flat Susans so they can color a Flat Susan B. too!

You can request your tool-kit by emailing ayushi@womenlegislators.org

You can even download your own Flat Susan instantly and decorate her to give to other elected women, or take her around your state with! Click here and download her now.

Elected women have been taking #FlatSusan so many places. Take a look at the slideshow below and see where Susan has been spotted!
