NFWL’s 2018 Annual Conference just concluded and covered a wide variety of issues. Almost 100 elected women from both sides of the aisle across the country came together to look at healthcare topics including cost savings and rare diseases, K-12 education, critical infrastructure, occupational licensing, energy, telecommunications, civil discourse, leadership development, and more.
NFWL was proud to announce that Washington, DC’s Mayor Muriel Bowser served as one of NFWL’s Honorary Conference Chairs, welcoming all elected women from across the country into her district for our event. In everything she does, the Mayor puts District residents first, and ensures that the city’s priorities match the peoples’ priorities. We were so glad to have her on board!
