Need one more reason to join NFWL in Minneapolis for our Annual Conference? Look no further than Wine & Design. This evening event will be open to the first 50 conference attendees who arrive at the event.
Sit back have a glass of wine and enjoy a painting adventure with artist Maralee Gazelka, as she delivers painting instruction in a relaxing and fun way. Maralee is gifted at drawing out the inner artist within each of us (even if you don’t think you have a creative bone in your body!).
Artist Maralee Gazelka is from Minnesota and is married to the State Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka.
Maralee’s art is inspired by the joy she experiences in the beauty of God’s creation while taking hikes through the woods, adventuring in her jeep, or getting out on the lakes.
Her hope is that she can capture the feeling she has and bring it back to life on canvas for the viewer to find a place of rest and refreshing. Maralee has enjoyed live painting before audiences. She has had the opportunity to participate in workshops with master artists in Asheville, North Carolina River Arts District, collaborated with a group of artists at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts, and has fun leading artist development groups.
Maralee has been honored to win the people’s choice award for Grand View Lodge’s annual wine label competition sponsored by Minnesota Monthly magazine. Two of her paintings were featured on more than 3000 bottles sold at Grandview Lodge of Nisswa. In addition to the wine label competition, two other paintings were accepted for the members juried exhibit, displayed at the Laura H. Miles Gallery at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts.
